# Approve a time-off request

> Records the caller's approval of a pending request; once every approver has approved, the days are deducted and the employee is notified. The caller must be the approver whose turn it is. An admin may approve for the approver whose turn it is, and may approve a declined request, which overrides that decision. Nobody can approve their own request. Requires the `time-off:review` scope.
